French Market Shopping, Cooking Class and Lunch with chef Sarah La Touche

What a wonderful way to spend a spring day!
We meet at the French-style market at La Cigale where we will
shop with Sarah for fresh produce and other ingredients.
Then it's off to the Dish test kitchen in near-by
Parnell where we cook up lunch with a French theme, using the
best of the day's seasonal offerings. Sarah will demonstrate
and/or explain the dishes, and we will all pitch in to help.
We will sit down together to enjoy lunch along with a glass of
wine.
This promises to be a relaxing, participative and fun day a la
Francaise! As close as you can get to spending the day in
France without the jetlag!
Note: Own transportation is required. Transfer
from La Cigale to Dish test kitchen can be arranged.
About Sarah: Sarah and her husband Denis lived
in France for many years and ran the guest house and cookschool
"Les Mimosas" in Languedoc. She is a contributor to Dish
magazine and has a regular column in Waiheke Island's Gulf
News.
