Seasonal Flavour Cooking Class with Sarah La Touche: Spring Green - Culinary Herbs and Spring Vegetables

Spring Green - the phrase brings to mind images of young green leaves, colourful blossoms and most importantly, crisp, fresh green herbs and vegetables.


This class is a celebration of the freshest greens of the season.  Spring is such a fantastic time for fresh culinary herbs, and Sarah will talk about how and when to pick them at their best, how to dry them, etc.  The class will feature at least three fab dishes - a herb spread, a salad using herbs and edible flowers, a pasta sauce, and something sweet.


This delicious class will be held Thursday 30 September, at 6:15pm for a 6:30pm start and will finish at approx. 8:30pm.  Cost is only $90 per person and includes the demonstration class, generous tastings, refreshments and recipes to take home.

The venue is in the test kitchen for Dish magazine, located in a warehouse in Parnell.

About Sarah: 
Chef Sarah La Touche presents the Finding Flavour series of Seasonal Flavour Cooking Classes.  She is a regular contributor to Dish magazine and Gulf News.  She is completing her degree in Nutrition.  Sarah was previously a demonstrator at Epicurean Workshop.  Sarah and her husband Denis lived in the South of France for many years, where they ran a B&B and cook school, Les Mimosas.
